Welcome to Yallambee Wiltshire Horn Stud

Yallambee Wiltshire Horn Stud was established in the Hargraves locality southwest of Mudgee in 2004.

We specialise in pure bred, registered Wiltshire Horn Sheep as well as commercial stock for meat production. We chose to work with Wiltshire Horn sheep as they are a low maintenance breed producing high quality lean meat.

We practice and believe in no-till farming techniques, cell grazing in preference to set stocking and all stock are grass fed. We also participated in Australia's first Carbon Farming Conference and as a result will be enhancing and further developing these techniques to increase our soil carbon levels.

Yallambee Stud is located in a Low Prevalence Area for OJD and as such is eligible for 4 OJD Assurance Based Credit (ABC) Points. In addition we have now vaccinated all adults and are vaccinating all lambs with Gudair prior to 4 months of age, so are able to offer Wiltshire Horn Lambs with 7 points.
